Delta rapidly strengthens to a hurricane, will threaten Gulf Coast late in the week
Tropical Storm Delta formed in the Caribbean early Monday and rapidly strengthened to a Category 1 hurricane, with winds of 75 mph. Delta is on track to impact the central Gulf Coast late this week.
